One of just a handful of true Class A office buildings in down Santa Barbara, 111 E. Victoria Street was constructed in 2007 by the premier engineering company, Penfield & Smith, for their Santa Barbara headquarters. Only the finest materials were used both for structural integrity and utility, but also in the first class finishes throughout. Penfield and Smith, a Santa Barbara-based civil engineering firm founded in 1946, had a vision to build and occupy a building that exemplified their identity and would serve as their headquarters.
With the help of Edwards & Pitman Architecture and Schipper Construction, together the teams planned, designed, and executed the 18,432 square foot structure, incorporated with steel braced frames, concrete-masonry shear-walls and moment frames, as well as major shoring site stabilization. The building was specifically designed by and for civil engineers, land surveyors, inspector technicians, planners, and support staff.
The property is located two blocks from State Street, the main artery of town and two blocks from the historically renown Santa Barbara Courthouse. The building design includes on-site covered and gated parking on the ground floor, dramatic foyers on both the second and third floors and perimeter office throughout with high ceilings, exterior windows, decks and patios. In addition there is a dramatic roof top deck with views of the Santa Barbara Riviera as well as the downtown business district. Rarely does a property with this identity, efficiency and quality become available in Santa Barbara.Download Brochure
