Radius Group Completes Large Office Deal in Goleta

Santa Barbara, Calfornia – 07/24/07

Radius Group Commercial Real Estate is pleased to announce the purchase of 70 Santa Felicia Drive, an 11,880 square foot office building located near the El Camino Real Marketplace in Goleta. Bob Tuler and Paul Gamberdella of Radius Group represented the buyer, Walpole & Co., LLP, one of the largest accounting firms in Santa Barbara.  This is the first time that a major accounting firm has moved from Santa Barbara to Goleta.  Due to confidentiality reasons, the sale price can not be disclosed.

“The purchase of 70 Santa Felicia Drive by Walpole & Co., LLP demonstrates the continued strength of the Goleta office market,” said Bob Tuler, Co-Founding Partner of Radius Group.  “Due to the current negligible supply of vacant office space in the Santa Barbara market, companies are looking to the Goleta market for their office space and expansion needs.”

Francois DeJohn and Michael Paskin of Leider Hayes represented the seller, Unitrin. Walpole & Co., LLP is looking forward to moving into 70 Santa Felicia in September.
