Radius Group, a market share leader in commercial real estate sales and leasing in Santa Barbara’s South Coast region for the past 23 years, will be expanding its services into the north Santa Barbara County and San Luis Obispo regions.
Announced June 30, Radius has tapped Jay Peet to lead the company’s expansion up north. The strategic move north amplifies Radius’ already extensive reach with offices in Santa Barbara, Ventura and the Santa Ynez Valley.
Peet, with a prolific record in the San Luis Obispo market and deep-rooted expertise honed over the past three decades, joins Radius’ lineup of all-local brokers who have spearheaded many of the market’s highest-profile transactions since the company’s inception in 2002.
Prior to Radius, Peet led Keller Williams Realty Central Coast serving the San Luis Obispo and northern Santa Barbara markets.
“It’s mission-critical to Radius to deliver top resources and unparalleled market insight from experts who live and work in the communities we serve,” said Radius General Manager Don Katich.
“Jay’s reputation and vast expertise running a highly successful local brokerage with hundreds of agents will be invaluable to our many clients whose diverse commercial real estate interests span the Central Coast and beyond.”
Peet joins fellow Radius newcomer and Santa Barbara native Sierra Falso, whose 35 years of experience including 15 years exclusively in commercial real estate as a retail and development specialist, and five years in construction management, further cements the company’s commitment to mining local talent. Falso will also strategically focus efforts in the northern Santa Barbara county region.
“We’re always looking to add strength at all levels of operations to ensure our clients have every advantage,” said Radius partner Gene Deering. “It’s uncommon to find someone with Jay’s leadership and depth of knowledge across every facet of real estate.”
