Rob Devericks has specialized in the sale, leasing and repositioning of retail properties throughout the Central Coast for the last 17 years. Rob’s area of expertise is the ability to assist shopping center owners add value to their shopping centers by both improving the quality of tenants in a center and using his command of the market to help increase rental income. Rob is also involved in tenant site selection, and site acquisition; and retail investment sales throughout the Central Coast.
Devericks recently aided in the purchase of a 130,000 square foot regional center in Moorpark, and during the pandemic successfully negotiated a 38,000 square foot lease with Amazon Market which will become the center’s primary anchor tenant. This new anchor will help increase the shop space rent in the center by 15–20%. In addition, Devericks is currently working on site selection in his market for Planet Fitness, Grocery Outlet, Krispy Kreme, and Blaze Pizza. He successfully negotiated a 10-year lease for Planet Fitness in Simi Valley which was executed in July of 2020. At the same time, which was in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic, Devericks negotiated a 25,000 SF lease on behalf of DRA Advisors with UFC Gym at The Esplanade which is a 488,000 SF power center on the 101 freeway in Oxnard.
Prior to joining Radius, Devericks was Vice President at Hagelis Group for 10 years which was a regional boutique retail firm. Devericks began his retail career at NAI Capital based in Ventura County in 2003 where he helped build a new retail group.
