Austin Herlihy & Chris Parker are proud to announce the sale of Santa Barbara’s landmark Hotel Californian. The duo recently represented the seller of the luxury waterfront property which opened in 2017 taking on the moniker “Gateway to the City” after a multi-year development project known as La Entrada (Herlihy was also a part of that deal).
The 121-room hotel which occupies three corners of State and Mason Streets just a block from the beach and includes 21,000+ SF of commercial space, was purchased by businessman Bill Foley and the Foley Entertainment Group. The Californian will maintain its five-star operations and will also showcase the many fine offerings of Foley Family Wines which owns winemaking properties around the world including in the Santa Ynez Valley.
